As our State Representative, Lonnie Reed will continue to focus on economic issues that include:
Property tax reform
More State money for Branford schools
State tax and grant incentives that encourage Towns to cooperate with one another on selected projects
Lonnie will work for environmental and energy policies that:
Provide incentives for conservation
Encourage fossil fuel alternatives
Grow Connecticut's green energy industry
Stimulate smart economic development
Expand assistance and conservation programs to help vulnerable citizens heat and winterize their homes
Lonnie will also fight to protect programs that:
Keep Seniors in their homes
Provide access to affordable prescriptions
Insure the uninsured
And Lonnie promises a constituency services process that is accessible, responsive and proactive.
