As our State Representative, Lonnie Reed will continue to focus on economic issues that include:

  • Property tax reform
  • More State money for Branford schools
  • State tax and grant incentives that encourage Towns to cooperate with one another on selected projects

Lonnie will work for environmental and energy policies that:

  • Provide incentives for conservation
  • Encourage fossil fuel alternatives
  • Grow Connecticut's green energy industry
  • Stimulate smart economic development
  • Expand assistance and conservation programs to help vulnerable citizens heat and winterize their homes

Lonnie will also fight to protect programs that:

  • Keep Seniors in their homes
  • Provide access to affordable prescriptions
  • Insure the uninsured

And Lonnie promises a constituency services process that is accessible, responsive and proactive.
